Burgundy – white and red
Saturday, January 16, 2027, starting at 3:00 p.m.
No wine-growing region in the world drives wine lovers as crazy as Burgundy: the same grape, the same village, a difference of just a few meters in the vineyard’s location—and two completely different wines in the glass. That’s exactly what we’ll be showcasing this evening. Seven acts, each featuring two wines side by side: neighboring vineyards, the same wine from two different producers, the same wine from two different vintages. Three white wine pairings to start, followed by four reds.
Hans Babits will lead the tasting. All wines will be served blind: You'll know which wines are in your glass—but not in what order. The answer will be revealed after each flight.
The following wines will be served:
- Domaine Leflaive, Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru 2014
- Vincent Dauvissat, Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos 2014
- François Raveneau, Chablis Grand Cru Les Clos 2014
- Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, Romanée-St-Vivant Grand Cru 2005
