Wine Tasting: Rhône Valley & Friends

The northern Rhône is home to some of the world’s most impressive Syrahs—Hermitage, Côte-Rôtie, Cornas. Further south, in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Grenache is blended in. And from here, both grape varieties have conquered the world: Australia, California, Spain, South Africa—great Syrahs and Grenaches are grown everywhere today.

WSET-certified wine expert Hans Babits will be comparing classic Rhône wines with their “offspring” from around the world this evening. A selection, tasted blind—and one question: Where does the Rhône end, and where does the rest of the world begin?
